Do writings other than the Bible hold any spiritual significance?

There are other books that can teach about history. They can even teach about the lives of religious people and about godly standards. But there is only one, true, infallible Word of God. That is the Bible. There is no other source that you can put your trust in to be the perfect Word of God. In the Bible, God has told us everything we could ever need to know about Himself, His plans, His purposes and His ways.

Christianity is not just another denomination; it is the only way to the Father, thereby the only way to Heaven. Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). Being a Christian means loving Jesus Christ and following Him with your whole heart. John 1:1 says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." That does not give room for trusting outside sources as being equal to the Word of God-the Bible!

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
